In July 2010, CNIPA approved the establishment of the “National Intellectual Property Shanghai Training (Shanghai) Base”, hereinafter referred to as the “Training Base”, at Tongji University. In September of this year, Professor Tian Lipu, Director of SIPO, and Ms. Zhao Wen, Vice Mayor of Shanghai, jointly unveiled the training base, marking the official operation of the training base. Since the establishment of the training base, the Shanghai Intellectual Property Office and Tongji University have attached great importance to the construction of the base. All the work has been carried out smoothly, and gratifying achievements have been made in personnel training.
